John started Optimum Painting back in 1993, after relocating from California to beautiful Central Oregon. What began as a one-man painting service has since grown into a full family-run operation that now spans everything from residential painting to full-scale general contracting. With over 30 years of experience, John has painted homes all across the West Coast—from the hills of California to the forests of the Oregon Coast—earning a reputation for detail, reliability, and integrity. Rooted in family values and craftsmanship, John takes pride in keeping the business local and close-knit. His son now helps lead the company as both administrative manager and on-site foreman, ensuring each project runs smoothly and meets the Optimum standard. In the past year, John expanded Optimum Painting to include full-service contracting, offering everything from remodels and decks to flooring and structural work. To John, painting isn’t just a job—it’s a craft. And every home he works on is treated like his own.
Manager
Billy is the second-generation force behind Optimum Painting. As the company’s Administrative Manager and on-site Foreman, Billy oversees the day-to-day operations, keeps projects on schedule, and ensures every detail is handled with care. He’s known for his strong leadership, natural talent, and ability to keep things running smoothly—even on the busiest of job sites. Billy works side-by-side with his father, John, forming a reliable, family-based team that clients know they can count on. His eye for quality and commitment to excellence have made him a key part of the company’s continued growth, especially as they’ve expanded into full-service contracting over the past year. With plans to carry the business into the next generation, Billy is passionate about maintaining the company’s trusted name and legacy. Clients and team members alike describe Billy as a go-getter, a sharp delegator, and someone who always shows up on time, prepared, and ready to get the job done right.
Social Media Moderator
Shaylin Pizzola serves as the Social Media Manager for Optimum Painting, overseeing all digital content, posting schedules, and brand presence across platforms. She manages the company’s online visibility and collaborates with her nephew, who assists with content updates and engagement. From visuals to captions, Shaylin ensures that Optimum’s reputation stays strong both on the ground and online. In addition to her role with the family business, Shaylin also owns and operates a successful dog grooming business, reflecting her lifelong passion for animals. She has a particular love for horses, outdoor life, and rural living. While her work with Optimum Painting stays mostly behind the scenes, Shaylin plays an important role in maintaining the company’s voice and connection to the community.
